Why choose Gisborne Chiropractic?

  • We make you feel good:
    We specialise in smiles, the one on your face as you feel better, and the ones on our faces as we enjoy your company.
  • State of the art techniques:
    In addition to using the latest (and some of the 'tried and true') Chiropractic techniques, we address soft tissue/muscle imbalances through massage/trigger point work, and rehabilitative exercises routinely.  We also utilise the latest in computer based balance and gait (walking) assessment equipment.  Finally, our chiropractors also have a special interest and training in areas such as sports perfomrance, injury and post surgical rehabilitation, balance/vestibular rehabilitation, and complex neurological condition assessment and rehabilitation.
  • All of our chiropractors have at least 2 university degrees (all have or are completing Masters degrees), have been or are currently involved in research and lecturing at a University, and years of practical experience. We are always involved in continuing education, to provide you with the latest and best techniques.
  • Lots of happy patients:
    Over 70% of our new patients come from word of mouth referral. We have over 1500 families who currently use our services, we see 2 and 3 generations in some of them. Many of our families have been with us since the clinic opened in the early 1980's.
  • Cheerful team who really care:
    Our team consists of three general chiropractors, a paediatric chiropractor, a masseur and 4 client service staff, all of whom vie for the chance to share some quality time, to listen to you, to help put a smile on your face, and possibly to share a cuppa with you.
  • Convenient to you:
    We are convenient in lots of ways;
    • The clinic is 3 minutes walk from the middle of Gisborne, 8 minutes by car from Riddells Creek, 10 minutes from Sunbury and Woodend, and only 20 minutes from Bacchus Marsh, Kyneton, and Melton. We are 45 minutes from Fitzroy and the centre of the city.
    • We keep hours to suit nearly everyone. The clinic is open Monday to Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday nights are late nights, usually until 8pm, and early mornings, starting at 7.30am. We keep specific times available every day for family visits, as well as for New Patients.
    • We have wheel chair access to the front and back of the clinic, and are equipped with a full disabled toilet, which is also equipped with a baby change table.
    • Depending on the time of day we are either more adult or family friendly. During the day, if you wish, we are more than happy to mind your children while you are having your adjustment. Of an evening, it is a more adult time, and you can enjoy a fresh made Coffee or Tea in our patient lounge.
  • Lots of parking:
    On the clinic grounds we have 27 car parks (see map), all easily accessible. There is also ample on-street parking available.
