Most people think of the spine when they think of chiropractic. Whilst we excel at treating conditions affecting other regions of the body, a large part of our practice is dedicated to diagnosing and managing spinal conditions. We particularly enjoy helping people recover from:
Acute Low Back Pain
Chronic Low Back Pain
Mid (Thoracic) Back Pain
Neck (Cervical) and Shoulder Pain
‘Sciatica’ (a symptom which has numerous causes)
Disc Bulges and Degeneration
Arthritis of the Spine
Pregnancy Related Back Pain
Nerve Entrapments (Neck or Lower Back)
Scoliosis
Spondylolisthesis
Sacroiliac/Pelvic Joint Dysfunction
Pelvic and Hip Pain
Scheuremann’s Disease
Poor Posture Syndromes
Our treatments are typically hands-on, including joint mobilisations and manipulations when required, traction techniques including specialised tables designed to help manage disc bulges, soft tissue techniques (such as massage and trigger point therapy), taping techniques, exercise and rehabilitation prescription, dry needling, and when indicated techniques such as ultrasound. All treatments are tailored to the individual given their current needs and preferences, so if you’re a little nervous about consulting a chiropractor we can alter treatments to suit you, being as gentle as you prefer. Our goals are to see you up and moving well as quickly as possible, and to give you the tools required help prevent a return of your problem.
